Q:          HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.
A:          High blood pressure is one of the problems that affect us the most. I think it
might be one of the first three most frequently asked questions at seminars, the
hospital and at doctor’s visits. High blood pressure is preventable. High blood
pressure is a problem that comes out of our life style. We do not rest enough. We do
not detoxify well. We eat the wrong foods and we do a lot of things. So it’s very important
to remember that high blood pressure is going to be managed or prevented if we take a
lot of things into consideration. First and foremost might be stress. We don’t have to let
stress come into our lives. Spirituality is our best help. We have a God we can trust, and
this is very important. We have to leave a lot of the problems in His hands. Secondly, we
have to supplement our food. We have to supplement our food because magnesium is
probably the best preventative for high blood pressure. Trace Supreme should be on
your table every day. The next part is your diet. Make sure you consume quality foods,
low in fat, low in sodium. Novenzyme is a great help for those of you that work and run
around. They will help keep your blood sugar stable. Essential fatty acids such as
Evening Primrose Oil, Omega-3 Fatty Acids are going to be a great solution or
preventative. You have to analyze your life. You have to really sit down with your family
and help each other by preventing high blood pressure. For more information please
refer to Maureen Salaman's chapter on High Blood Pressure in her book - All Your
Health Questions Answered Naturally, available here on this website.

Q:
EXPLAIN WHY PEOPLE ARE HAVING SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE
THYROID.
A:          You have seen that many of us and those that we love seem to have a lot of
thyroid problems. We get a lot of questions about thyroid problems. Thyroid is a gland
that produces very important hormones for our life. The thyroid gland needs nutrients in
order for it to properly function within your endocrine system. Amino acids are a very
essential part of our diet, and all minerals in the proper ratios, but one mineral in
particular supports the thyroid and that is called iodine. When we don’t have that in our
diet, something is going to go wrong with our thyroid. This is far too frequent because
our soils are so depleted of iodine. This is probably one of the oldest recognized
illnesses that is still around, and mainly because we have poor intake of iodine and
poor intake of quality amino acids. This is something again that we can prevent. To
prevent it, we have to start early in life. For you mothers and grandmothers out there,
you have a lot to help with your children's health and nutrition. You have to make sure
that minerals are well supplemented, and that amino acids are well supplemented.
You have great products here with us. One is Trace Supreme, which is a multi mineral
that’s going to cover that and you need to have amino acids as well. Make sure that you’
re going to begin early in life because that thyroid needs the nutrition very early in life.
So you might begin probably by the first year of life, and that’s going to make a big
difference in the thyroid function of your child. For more information refer to the thyroid
chapters in Maureen Salaman's book - All Your Health Questions Answered Naturally.
